» What to expect

We are definitely a church with a difference!

We are a small but growing community with a cross section of people from different backgrounds and with ages ranging from 20 - 65 years old.

You are welcome to come as you are, but dress is typically casual and relaxed.

The first thing that you will notice is that the room is laid out with round tables and chairs. This creates a really relaxed community atmosphere and encourages interaction, and gives you somewhere to put your coffee or tea!

A typical service is around one and a half hours long. We start with a time of worship. Our music has an acoustic rock feel, and ranges from raucous songs to more intimate, quiet songs. Time is usually allowed for quiet reflection and personal interaction with God. People are encouraged to connect with God in whatever way they believe is appropriate. You may typically see some people on their knees, others with their hands raised, while others just sit quietly.

After that we have a short coffee break and then share news of what is happening in our community. Then we go straight into a time of relevant teaching. Space is given for discussions and questions. We close with a time of prayer, where we wait on God and allow Him to reinforce what He is doing in our lives. Prayer is also given for healing and God's intervention in our lives.

This is where the structured part of the meeting ends, but people usually hang around and have some more coffee, and a good chat.

CHILDCARE FACILITIES: As we are a growing church we do not yet have any sort of programme for children. We do however have a childrens room equipped with lots of fun toys and activities and a fully equipped mother and baby's room. We are also very relaxed and do not mind children making a bit of noise or wandering around at all, and we are delighted if they participate in the service.
